Based in Thames Ditton, ESG is a forward-thinking, independent sports provider founded by ex-professional
tennis player, Clinton Lamprecht. The company has been coaching children in sports since 1991. Today,
England Sports Group provides fantastic coaching for children in clubs, holiday camps, and classes at over 70
venues in Surrey and SW London with a variety of sports such as gymnastics, tennis, netball, football, rugby,
basketball, archery, and dance amongst others.

The Role Overview
As a Football Coach, you will be leading and assisting in our after-school football classes in Barnes.
Term time sessions are on Thursday and Friday between 3.15pm and 5.15pm
 
Role and Responsibilities
This is a self-employed position.
As a Lead coach, you will be responsible for a group of up to 15 children of similar ages to coach football at
an introductory and intermediate level.
Assistant coaches will be working with lead coaches at the sessions.
 
We are looking for football coaches who are passionate about working with children and can bring energy
and enthusiasm with them every day. This is an ideal role for those looking to get more experience in the
sports industry or working with children.
Key responsibilities include:
• Bringing energy and enthusiasm to every session.
• Being professional in your interactions with children, parents, other coaches and schools.
• Being on time for all sessions
• Safeguarding of the children
• Assisting with the safe set up and packing of equipment, ensuring all equipment is stored safely.
• Teaching relevant skills, progressions, and techniques
• Talking with parents about the progress of their children, when necessary
• Making sure health and safety procedures are being followed
• Being familiar with and following all school policies and procedures.
 
Requirements
Must be 17 years old minimum
DBS Checked – this can be done in the joining process.
Paediatric First Aid Training
Reliable & Punctual
Good communication skills
Enjoys working with children
You must be eligible to work in the UK
You must be able to speak English fluently
You must be currently living within a commutable distance of this position
