Qualification Options

Our NCFE Level 2 Sport Courses, equivalent to GCSEs, provide practical skills for students aiming for careers in sport. We offer three focused courses:

Sports Coaching

Develop coaching skills, including planning sessions, athlete development, and leadership. Learn health and safety, communication, and psychology for coaching success.

Sports, Exercise, and Fitness

Understand exercise principles, anatomy, nutrition, and fitness programme design. Gain skills in fitness testing, injury prevention, and promoting health and wellbeing.

Working in Sport

Championing Inclusivity in Education

Alternative education programmes are designed for students who struggle in mainstream settings and require specialised instruction beyond traditional teaching methods.

Students may enter alternative education for various reasons, including socio-emotional, behavioural, or learning difficulties. The primary goal is to support their personal growth, develop life skills and interpersonal values, while also advancing their academic progress.

My daughter (Year 11) struggles at school and has a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, depression, and anxiety.

During the course with Dan, she has shown interest, engagement, and motivation and consistently completes her work to a high standard. She is beginning to realise that she can be good at something and can reach her potential and gain a qualification that will lead to meaningful work further down the line.
