Padel England Ladder #1

As you would have seen in recent communication we are now launching our Padel England Ladder that operates as a box league. 

The Ladder is for members only and is free to enter. There will be a maximum of seven teams per box league. 

The entries are unlimited and you will be allocated to your Ladder, based on ability.

This 'vehicle' will allow you to rank yourself and your chosen Padel partner against the others in the club.

The event is open to all Members and we encourage you to gauge your Padel journey against other members.

The ladder timeframes run on a quarterly basis.

There will be 4 Ladders per year. 

The closing date for entries is 19 June 2023.

Matches to commence from 19 June 2023.

The duration to play your matches is up to, and including, 10 September 2023. 

The following Ladder #2 will commence on 18 September 2023.

The format:

Enter, with a partner, using the link above (you must enter with a partner);

Advise the club who your partner is, for the duration of The Ladder, via email, to membership@englandsportsgroup.com 

As the event runs for 11 weeks there will be no requirements for subs. In extreme circumstances this can be requested and each request will be reviewed;

We will then set up an email and WhatsApp group for the entrants;

You will be notified, using these aforementioned forums, who has entered;

You then arrange your matches within the ladder/box league at a time that suits both teams;

You must play each team, at least, once;

The match is to be the best of 3 sets with 'Golden Point' deuce and a 7 Point Tie Break, when required;

Submit the match results to membership@englandsportsgroup.com;

We will then compile the Ladder (which will be posted on the noticeboard outside our office) and on the (soon to be installed) noticeboard on the courts, on a weekly basis. 

The Ladder is free to enter......yes FREE!! Your only obligation is to book your courts for a time that suits you, and who you are challenging, and to submit your results. 

For the first Ladder, we will update the Ladder but we encourage you to register on Playtomic (the app can be found on any of the OS app 

stores).

Posting results to Playtomic will be mandatory going forward, from Ladder #2, which commences on 18 September 2023.

Playtomic is a very useful app as it automatically calculates your Padel ranking and suggests other players in your area to play against.
